Should ECO mode be used when towing a travel trailer?

Asked by GuruC8DG3 Feb 28, 2019 at 02:16 PM about the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited RWD

Question type: General

Have been towing a travel trailer from Florida
to NV and now heading back. Should I leave
ECO mode on or take it off?  At 60 mph our
Jeep downshifts and the rpm sits at 4000
rpm. At 65 it upshifts down to 2500 rpm.
Kind of frustrating. As I understand the
comments in here, it appears I should turn off
ECO. Thoughts?  Suggestions?

I would not. Use the tow setting if you have it but you should really read the owners manual!
