Car idle really low and dies if i take foot off gas

A piece of My serpintine belt
came off last night and I put a
new obe on today now my car
won't stay running , it starts no
problem but Idle really low and
when I take my foot off gas it
dies what is wrong ?

Check for vacuum leaks
Check for wires/plugs that you might've accidentally disconnected
I just wanted to thank whoever answered a question regarding truck not idling when I take my foot off the accelerator...I recently changed my battery and right afterwards, the truck would not run when I took my foot off the accelerator. someone here had a suggestion that I reset my computer on my truck by taking negative cable off the battery, then turning the key on and depressing my gas pedal to the floor for about 30 seconds. I did that and all is well. truck idles fine and drivers fine. I guess anytime we take battery cables off, we need to do this. Thanks to the guy that really helped me out in this cold weather.
