newer battery drains dead

when i turn on windshield wipers, battery ! 1/2 yr old tested and is good, drains
and car stalls out. will start with a jump or charging overnight.

Sounds like a serious problem in the wiper circuit , I'd have it fixed before you toast something really expensive , like the whole car .
