i have a 95 eclipse GST with a 4G63T engine, im planning to convert it to manual. what transmission would fit in it? need some advice.

automatic transmission shifts only up to 3rd gear. i dont know if the problem is in the
valve body. what should i do to avoid transmission issues when swapping to a manual
trans?

Almost any of the manual trans out of eclipse or galant with same motor size will fit.(turbo or non) best to find a donor car to do the swap that way you have everything you need. Oh you will need a manual flywheel too.
