What engine do i have?

Asked by Mchav0813 Mar 17, 2019 at 03:11 AM about the 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo RWD

Question type: General

So i got a 1984 monte carlo landau and was told it has a
305 5.0L engine in it.  I just need to know if there is any way  
i can find that out for sure or not? Its all original, i just can't
find any specs for a "landau" online or from anybody else i
was only told that landau is for the vinyl top

Try vin finder. If you research your vin number you might be able to find out exactly what your vehicle has.

If your search is not helpful, try calling a local GM parts department, they can probably look it up or tell you which number/alpha to check in the VIN. Hope this helps.
