How do i hook up multiple batteries to the alternator to be able to run an abundance of additional accessories?
I.e. some things like under body glow,
interior glow (with off/on switch)
stereo equipment, etc.
if you did connect them in series by mistake you'd generate combined voltage...I guess that if you had 10 of them could produce 120 VDC....you'd need an inverter to run the fridge for example~ one might use 6 volt DEEP cycle batteries because they are designed for this duty cycle~
yes....well connect them with 1/0 battery cable or even 0/0 cable for extremely high loads for like welding or running the hydraulic log splitter in Parallel~
I just need to find the right batteries wiring etc. i will be running a lot if different lights, Styles and a powerful stereo, along with a few other items.
I think most people just run a larger alternator, youll still have to put the charge back into them, so you need an alt that will keep up with it all
I haven't been able to find any oversized ones that would work. Even with one everything that I'm going to be doing will need more than that. I guess what I'm getting at is you see all these competition cars they have all these extra things in their vehicles that would kill a regular battery and what not. They all have multiple batteries to power everything they use.
