all day and not die, sometimes start back up.
sometimes not start for days. but weird  part is,
when I turn key to on position and if the battery
light comes on with the rest of the dash lights then
it will start, when I turn the key to the on position
and all the dash warning  lights flash on,except the
battery light, and it dont come on or flash at all
then it will only turn over, but not start. its getting
fuel, but when battert light dont flash with rest of
warning lights, i believe its not getting fire. i put
screwdriver into plugwire and sit it next to metal
and crank engine, and no spark jumping, 2.0 dohc

I am not a mechanic by any means, but that sounds similar to my neighbors issues with her car, it was a dead spot in the alternator.
