Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It happens in Reverse, Drive, and in the Manual side.  I spoke with a guy from AutoZone
and he told me that it sounds like the Transmission Speed sensor, but I am trying to
figure out all possibilities that it could be and trying to replace them and get the car
running the streets again

It does have to do with the transmission but its not the speed sensor your car is going into fail safe mode which prevents the car from shifting. But when it does shift it jerks the car after so much of that the car will stay in 3rd gear. Go have your trans rebuilt. It costs a pretty penny but you want it fixed properly. I have the same car and that happened to me to
