I really need help with a question on my 03 mits eclipse

bought a 2003 mits eclips.  wont start.  keeps trying to turn over like its out of
gas.  has gas. replaced fuel pump, checked fuse and relays still wont engage.  
did use starter fluid and got very close to turning over but not.  !  frustrated.  
was told it might be the car computer.  any other suggestions?
