My 2004 Outlander which is automatic at times doesn't start when you turn the key,everything lights up in the dashboard but no sound from the engine,after several attempts it would then start, yet other times it starts effortlessly yet if you immediately it might take several attempts for it to start,so unpredictable.My fear is that one it is not going to staar

Next time it does not what to start put it in neutral and see if it starts if it does neutral safety switch needs to be adjusted or replaced.
