CD PLAYER and CLOCK LIGHT

the clock and CD player display works but the light doesn't light up when headlights are on along witht the rest of the instrument panel lights. Also, the shifter letters don't light up at night either. Is this a fuse problem or do the bulbs just need replacing? Can anyone tell me what fuses to check if that is the problem?

Sounds like a problem with the light controls, etc. Have this checked out by a shop -- may have a bad headlight switch.
I have exactly the same problem as Aaron with an 06 Endeavor. Fuses are OK. Could it really be the headlight switch?
You will need to remove the clock display and replace the 2 little bulbs inside the display board, mitsubishi dealer only sells the complete display, not the bulbs alone. You can find the bulbs at Autozone or any other car parts store like them. I did it to mine and it works perfectly.
