I don't have a manual and need to know what the sensor light in the lower right corner of the dash is indicating. Can you help?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The sensor light looks a bit like this:  (!)
I don't know what needs to be checked and can't afford to have it all checked out. I'm trying to take care of the problem myself but never got an owners manual when I purchased the car.

I know this sounds weird but my 2006 eclipse does the same thing. THe light goes off however after I fill up with premium. It only comes on after I run unleaded in it for awhile. Not sure if it's a fluke or what, but that's how mine goes. Worth a try isn't it?

its telling you one of your tires are low on pressure from the pressure sensors in the wheels -- had same light comming on only in winter increased the pressure and it went off --- as for the guy having the light go off when he filled it up - more weight the more pressure on the tire the internal pressure went up and the sensor goes off --- i think i read someware that the light seting is 25 psi?? but i agree its a dumb design for a low pressure reading

If your tires pressure is ok on all 4 wheels then one or more of your sensors are either missing (you may have regular tire valve) and or you have very expansive to replace tire(s) TPS sensors. They go for about $120.00 each at Mitshubishi dealer. I have 2005 Endeavor with two "regular" tire valves at front for past 3 years. In any case any service on tires "tireman" have to reset code on them. Good luck

While driving on the highway with cruise control on 70mpg. (Listening to my radio) An odd number came up on the radio. (E0) The radio & cruise control shut off simultaneously. I drove about 3-4 miles & the car slowed as if out of gas. (It wasn’t.) I had lights & power to open windows. It wouldn’t start....no sound at all while turning the key....,nothing. Had to be towed to a garage. Any idea what this could be??? I’m told a possible altinator. Does that sound right based on the info I just gave you?
