i have a 1998 ford taurus drives and shitfs fine the problem i am having is when i come to a stop at red light or stop sing the car loses drive i got in revirse and back to drive its ok till next stop

the fluid's at the proper level and is nice and pink ?

fluid and filter are changed and filled to proper level car dont do it all the time


The transmission sounds like it is on the way out. So do you put a couple grand into the car or dump it before? If it were my car, I would start looking for another.
