A/C pressure switches, if the pressures are too low or too high the system is shut down. What do the A/C system gauges say the pressures are?

Jumping compressor to battery I got 40 psi when charging freon

Test for power in and out of the pressure switches, the low side is the most common one to fail first, if no voltage and the fuses are good start tracing the wiring, could have one broken

also electric fan not engaging are they on the same circuit. when I bypass compressor fan engages

In a round about way they are, when the A/C compressor turns on you should get a cooling fan.
