Rear axle wheel bearing replacement.

How can I tell the size of the ring gear on my 98 Ranger, 4.0. 4 x 4 in order to get the
correct wheel bearing ?
They need to know if its a 7.7 or 8.8

pull the axel first or buy both and return one,

4.0 and 4x4 rangers all get the 8.8" rear axle
