Sunroof issues 2018 Equinox

Asked by GrowthMotivator Mar 22, 2021 at 04:03 PM about the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox 2.0T LT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had on and.off issues with my 2018
Equinox sunroof SINE DAY ONE. have
contacted GM and spoken with a specialist
who wasn't at all helpful, and spoke with a
customer service pulse rate of 2. I
requested he put the NOTES OF THE CALL
INTO THE SYSTEM.

He said he'd call the dealership to address
the problem. Nothing happened. Next call
he said he'd do a written report for a
possible "buy back". Nothing happened.
Then he said, since we'll you're out of
warranty now so nothing we can do. Of
course I'm out of warranty by the TIME it
took them to process my initial request to
fix/replace the sunroof when I WAS IN
WARRANTY.

This is NOT the GM of the past. What loss of
integrity they now have. I will NEVER do
business with GM again and.....bad news
travels the world before good news gets
dressed (complaints hurt companies, not
customers).

Contact your attorney and start a Lemon Law claim! You're right, GM is not the same. There's a reason why they filed for bankruptcy! They've been making junk for the past 25 years now! Hope that helps! Jim
