How expensive is it to fix the stereo, and or replace it?

My 2000 beetle sways real bad in the front when the roads are wet and raining. but when dry you can hardly feel it at all like there is nothing wrong but when wet it was put me sideways in the road and it is so bad it is going to get someone hurt or killed if not fixed. but have no idea what it is because I never had something act this way. 2 Answers

At first it wouldn't lock into place, the seat would just move. Now it's locked, and it won't move at all.

The code epc came up. Was never under the hood,just put new rotors and brake pads on. What would cause this epc code to show and how can I fix it?
