lost key to truck. is there a key number i can get off the vehicle to get a key made.

When I lost my key to Optima I called a Kia dealership and asked if they could make me a new key. The guy said that all he needed was the person whose name is on the title of the car with a photo ID verifying it's you. He will also need the VIN number of the car. It's pretty cheap if I'm remembering correctly as well.

If you do not have another ignition key (transponder key) visit the dealership.

In Canada the Ford dealers will not go back more than ten years to give you a key code. Also charge you for it. They the reason we bought a new GMC
