Mustang Overheating only with Air Conditioner Kn

Asked by MustangMousekateer May 30, 2018 at 10:30 AM about the 2007 Ford Mustang GT Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Mustang GT is overheating when I am in
heavy traffic or hot weather when the air
conditioning is on.  When i turn the air off the temp
goes back to the middle of cool and hot again
(normal).  A couple if shops said they cant recreate
it so they cant fix it.  Help!  What needs replacing?  I
am dying when I drive my car and it is hot.  As long
as it is coolish and little traffic there is no problem
running the air also.

Try cleaning the A.C condenser coil if radiator sets in front of condenser clean both with a garden hose and nozzle maybe clogged with dirt and bugs causing little to no air flow across the condenser.
