As with any used car, you should have it checked over by a mechanic prior to purchase. With an odometer showing 33,000 miles per year for six years, I'd want an explanation from the seller, and I'd want to see documentation, like receipts for service along that time. This could verify quality of maintenance and the fact that the odometer hasn't been played with. Next, if the battery had always been charged slowly, like at the person's house, and not hot charging at commercial quick-charge stations, the battery might be OK, but frequent use of fast charging has likely burned out the battery pack by now. So, Protect yourself..... Beyond that, with that mileage in great condition, that car should sell for around five grand.

Nope, for that kind of money you should be able to get something with a lot less mileage. Average mileage is 10 to 15 thousand miles per year for the age of the vehicle. This vehicle has been driven around 33,000 miles per year. If you can confirm that's highway mileage it's not as bad. But still way too much money in my opinion! Hope that helps! Jim
