My 2001 lincoln ls battery and check ch as rging sysrem lught keeps coming on.

I had my alternator and battery replaced and ive no problem starting it, but
the light remains on and ive noticed at night my headlights have began  
flickering just driving down the highway. Help idk what to do, this is the only
vehicle my 16 year old daughter and i have, i dont want her or myself stranded
on the road one night.
