Battery

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lincoln LS V8
I would bought car used and was told there was a
problem with the battery. After battery went dead
on me I replaced it.  Car did fine for about 3
months.  Went to crank it, battery dead.  Charged
battery overnight, car cranked and ran fine for 2 or
3 days.  Went to crank it battery dead, but the
interior everything seemed to be on.  Turned it over
again and some interior lights went off.  Took key
out and I pressed the door lock and the alarm went
off and an interior light was dimly flashing.  Put key
back in to stop it.  Alarm went off 2 more times, all
in a 10 minute period.  Charged battery again
overnight and got a green light.  Went to crank it,
battery completely dead.  Any suggestions?

Might have a parasitic drain also? Also like ED said, you might have an underperforming alternator

Clean all your wire connections. Battery, starter, alternator and all body grounds
