sporadic hesitation when accelerating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Once or twice a day I get a slight hesitation when accelerating. I thought maybe the fuel tank was low and there would be water in the lines. But it seems to do it occassionaly with any tank size of fuel. Has anyone experienced this? My thoughts are to try and remove water from tank with liquid additive or change fuel filter. Any other suggestions?
