the brake lights will not go off

There is a little hole on the brake shaft that had a rubber plug in it. The plug caused your brake switch button to move up a d down. The little plug fell apart and now your switch plunger is going g into the hole. I put a screw in the hole that now causes the switch plunger to move back and forth which turns the brake lights off and on. I used a short metal screw pointed end touching the switch plunger.
