I have a 1976 Chevy C10. When I'm driving down the highway at 65mph or more and then come to a stop it cuts of and I have to let it sit for a few minutes before it will crank. What would cause this?

Check your toque converter solinold. Google this and it will tell you the problems that happens when this part goes bad. That is if you have an automatic transmission.
