Transmission Fluid Capacity

Asked by Guru69VDS Mar 10, 2020 at 04:20 AM about the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox 1.5T L FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just drained and replaced my transmission fluid,
and wondered if I put in the proper amount, or do I
have to add more. I only added one gallon of fluid.

How much drained out? You should be putting the exact amount back in. But there is a procedure on doing this. check youtube. The vehicle needs to be in the air, level and at a certain temperature, warm but not hot when adding or pumping in the final amount.
