Cruise Control Not Working After Car Battery Replacement

Asked by Casey Aug 20, 2019 at 01:29 PM about the 2017 Honda CR-V EX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello,

I called the Honda Roadside Assistance to help me with a dead battery. They
dispatched AAA. AAA came and replaced my battery. The tech said that in a
few days my sensors and things would be back to normal but it has been
three weeks and I still can't use my cruise control. Everything else seems to
be working properly. Is there something I need to reset to get my Adaptive
Cruise Control to work?

You will probably need to make a trip to the Honda dealer for reprogramming.

Casey, just had this happen with a 2017 CR-V. What did you/the dealer find? Have not had a chance to call the dealer but expect they are going to say bring it in.

My 2016 Honda Accord Touring now has same issues after dealership at the Avenues replaced the battery on 7/22/23. I now have 3 Yellow Light on dash that won't clear and have no working Cruise Control, Lane Assist, and Collision Assistance I told Service Advisor why does my vehicle now has these dash board light's on now, all he said its normal after battery replacement, and they will self clear after 20 miles or so, they haven't cleared, brought vehicle back to dealership, then they tell me its a bad radar. now they are just guessing looks like they shortage my vehicle somewhere. 01. Adaptive Cruise Control Problem 02. Collision Mitigation System Problem 03. Road Departure Mitigation System Problem
