Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 93 wrangler yj with a chevy 350 and turbo 350 trans.  There was a clunck in 2x4 and i lost drive.  Thought i blew the trans but i put it in 4x4 and it drove but only in 4x4 low the rear drive shaft turns and there is no noice out of the rear end.  Any ideas of what might be wrong.

Can be several things. First, Does it do anything at all in 4x4 low range? I would say it could be gears in the differential for the clunck... But because you say it only works in 4x4 high , i think the problem is with your transfer case. try to get it tested. Hope this helped get back to me :)
