I had a little bit too much fun in the mud in my 95 jeep wrangler. I have internal damage to my transmission and I was asked what type of transmission I have and I have no clue. Where can I look to find this out?!?

The vehicles owner's manual would have the info you are looking for.

I don't have the owners manual, the vehicle is 17 years old. Shouldn't it be printed somewhere underneath the transmission?
