Can Tj or Cj Doors and Hard tops work on a Yj?

Any TJ top or doors will NOT fit on a YJ, people will say they will but they won't. I had a '04 Wrangler and I was looking for a hard top and after researching on some Jeep forums I found out the top and the doors aren't interchange between the generations. Now the CJ top might work on a YJ but I don't think the doors will.

I have TJ doors on my YJ. They are not a pop on swap. I had to change the strikers and slightly adjust the angle of the windshield. Not hard.

Just ordered the strikers tonight. The TJ doors should be a definite to do for yj owners. The interior of the doors is much nicer and the windows are larger without the vents

Some of the answers here couldn't be more wrong. I have an 82 CJ-7 and only use YJ hard and soft tops & doors.
