I've got a 96 Cherokee with a 4.0. Mornings, I start the jeep, and if I only go a short distance, say around the block, and shut it off, it won't re-engage the starter for 7 or 8 minutes, but if I go 5 or moe miles, and get the engine warm, I can shut it off, and jump right back in and it'll fire up on the turn of the key. I just had to put a new starter on it, this past week-end, and I had hoped it wouldn't do that anymore, but this am, I had it happen again. it's really annoying me since I can't just leave it idle at the gas pumps in my new neighborhood. Any thoughts?

1995 Jeep Cherokee OverheatingHello all,Got a slight over-heating problem with my Jeep. Actually I noticed this from about 2 years ago and it's still the same today.When I'm stuck in bad traffic, or sit at a red light for too long, the temperature gauge would slowly creep upwards over the middle marker toward the third marker. I have not had it sitting idle for so long that it went into the last red region.But as soon as I start driving again, the temperature drops back down below just under the halfway mark.To me it sounds like an airflow problem, i.e. the engine is not getting enough airflow when it's sitting idle.Could this be the fan? Or a clogged or dirty radiator?I see two fans. The fan on the right always spins. The fan on the left does not spin when the engine is started. I just bought a 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude back in June and have had it shut off on me twice. The first time it was the engine throttle control light that came on. They didn't do anything with it, said to just bring it back in if it happens again. Then this past weekend, my battery light came on after I was driving it for a couple of minutes and it just stopped while I was driving like the first time! Luckily, I was safe on a back road with no one behind me but I'm afraid this is going to happen on the interstate or on a busy road. Is this happening to anyone else? What did they tell you? 2015 Jeep Compass with 42,000 Miles. A month ago I was driving on the highway and a lightening bolt came on the dashboard. The Jeep had power to the radio and call but I was pushing the gas and nothing. The bolt flashed for 4 seconds went off and then it drove fine. Last week I was driving and the lightening bolt, check engine light, and traction control came on. The Jeep begin to putt, the radio and all was wokring but it lost gas. I was pressing the gas and nothing, pulled the Jeep over took the key out waited a few seconds and put the key back in and it worked. The check engine light remained on, parked at my house. Came back out about an hour later put the key in and turned it over and all the lights were off and the Jeep has since been running fine. Any help is greatly appreciated, I am pretty stumped.
