Open and made sure it's full. But
now if I take off down the road and
get about 20 miles it starts rising
above 210 I have dual fans ones the
manual and the other is electric and
both work perfectly. My question is
that there's a brass valve looking
thing on to of the fill jug and I'm not
sure what it's for. And people have
also told me to poke a small hole int
the top of the fill tank cap. Can any
one help. Lol

1995 Jeep Cherokee OverheatingHello all,Got a slight over-heating problem with my Jeep. Actually I noticed this from about 2 years ago and it's still the same today.When I'm stuck in bad traffic, or sit at a red light for too long, the temperature gauge would slowly creep upwards over the middle marker toward the third marker. I have not had it sitting idle for so long that it went into the last red region.But as soon as I start driving again, the temperature drops back down below just under the halfway mark.To me it sounds like an airflow problem, i.e. the engine is not getting enough airflow when it's sitting idle.Could this be the fan? Or a clogged or dirty radiator?I see two fans. The fan on the right always spins. The fan on the left does not spin when the engine is started. Are they both suppose to spin?Thanks in advance for any advice.Regards, 2 Answers

i have a 95 jeep grand cherokee v8 automatic and it wont shift into fourth gear it was shifting into fourth after it got really warmed up like five miles then it would shift ,but now its not shifting at all ,the fluid was a little low so i topped it off but its still not shifting can anyone help me i cant even drive on the freeway 1 Answer

wont shift to fourth it goes in n out of 4th but kicks right back into 3rd
