Just bought a 97 jeep wrangler has stock 15 inch tires how big of tire and wheel can I put on without lift kit?

you can get a 17" rim and tire package that even though it's a larger tire and rim it will be the same size ...I would think that anything over 17 will hit unless you install spacers and longer lug studs on it...you can try http://www.extremeterrain.com/ .. or http://www.quadratec.com/ ...they both have on line assistance that can answer your questions and all you will need to do the job right as well
