1998 honda accord vtec

My honda gots a rebuilt engine and when i shift it
jerks a lil hard and sometimes when i apply gas at
a stop sign or red light it doesn't take off just revs
up a lil before going like the transmission is
slipping but when i use chevron gas it stops
completely but any other gas evrything is a lil off
what can this b besides this the car runs perfect

Frankly, I don't know that any particular brand of gasoline will make such a big difference however, the symptoms don't sound normal to me and I would take the car back to where the engine was rebuilt or a rebuilt engine put in the car and tell them about this problem. Else, continue to use Chevron instead of any other brand of gasoline.
