So...ive recently been using my ignition switch instead of a key it was working fine in till it fell apart yesterday I googled how to hotwire my car then I tried it and nothing works could I possibly shorted out something? Everything will come on but it won't turn over

Still here. Without being able to (hands on) check the circuits I couldn't say if you shorted something out. Feel bad That I can't give a better answer than I'm afraid you're going to have to get a mechanic to check it out. To start with you are probably going to have to replace the entire ignition switch. Sorry!
