how can i tell if my 2017 ford f150 ecoboost is prewired for a back up camera?

I am not sure if the camera would be in the tailgate or at the rear license plate. Look for an unused connector.

Not sure if your model has a tailgate which can be unlocked with the key fob. If it does, you will need the new tailgate handle with the camera and a new wiring harness maybe 18 inches long. Remove the old handle and harness and replace.

Forgot to add, you will also need a laptop connected to the OBD plug plus scanning software to activate the camera function.

Camera should be in the tail gate by the release handle of u see a message on the screen that reads camera not available... then the camera is busted
