Honda Accord 2003

Asked by Victor Aug 18, 2018 at 07:10 PM about the 2003 Honda Accord Coupe LX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 Honda Accord radio turns on but after I
start driving it keeps turning off. I checked all the
wiring the wiring looks good but I can't figure out
what's going on so when I turn on the AC unit it
turns off automatically and when I hit the sound it
shuts off what is the issue?

There’s a short between the radio and the accessory fuse that controls the radio. It keeps grounding out with vibration or when you use other accessories like the ac... Most likely somewhere near or at the harness for your radio. Is it an aftermarket radio? I know this thread is old but if you’re still having problems, let me know
