Grab handle on driver’s side

Asked by Altimaquestion Dec 23, 2017 at 07:44 PM about the 2017 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL

Question type: Car Customization

My father recently bought a 2017 Nissan Altima.
Unfortunately, after he got home he realized that
there wasn’t a grab handle on the driver’s side. He
uses the grab handle to help himself get out of the
car. Is it possible to add one, or is there a structural
reason why there’s not one there? There are draft
handles on the passenger side, and both back
doors. Thanks for your help!

Stop by the dealership and ask them if this is possible. If it is not possible he may be able to slightly modify the way he exits the vehicle to make him more comfortable.

This is one reason why people trade brand new cars in. An Altima is a poor choice for reliability due to the CVT transmission anyway.
