2017 Ford F-350 6.7 power stroke diesel

Asked by RNCguru Aug 24, 2020 at 11:02 PM about the 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty Platinum Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2017 Ford F-350 that I am trying to
repair after the truck went completely under
water. Water to the roof of truck. Is there
anyone that had gone through this. Is there a
diagram of how power gets dispersed from
the battery to the truck components. Not sure
if this is more then I can handle but just
wanted to ask.

File a claim with your insurance company! Vehicle looks like a total loss to me! Thank God you didn't drown!! Jim

If you really want to do this you should do it right. New wiring harness and all new electronics just for starters. The cost will likely exceed the cost of replacing the truck.

You will also need to remove the entire drivetrain and disassemble the whole thing. All new gaskets etc and probably more. The interior will be a mess and you will need to replace the whole thing. There will be more, lots more. Treat the truck like a body shell and rebuild it from the sheet metal up. Any shortcuts will mean problems, lots of them.
