Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1989 chevy c1500 5.0, the belt wobbles
and the grooves on belt are getting shredded.
Replaced tensioner 3 times as belt keeps breking
them. Alternator also been replaced. What could it
be?

I would take a look at your ps pulley. If this was removed and then replaced incorrectly (without the proper tool) it WILL have a belt shredding wobble. To correct this issue, the pulley will need to be removed and the reinstalled using the proper tool.
