I have a '94 1500 and my problem is it will hard idle
and then dies... I start it then it will idle normal for
about 30 seconds and die unless i rev the engine or
if i shift it into gear it will go but sputters then dies
as soon as i let off the gas or try to give it gas...

Hi I would check the timing if your truck is on top dead center or right on then I would check your timing chain and gears if your timing chain is stretched out replace it but that is what it sounds like to me since you changed the tps the timing chain could be stretched causing your truck to idle rough or hard and causing it to die on you also check you distributor cap and rotor for any cracks that all so can cause hesitations rough idle dieing ext hope this will help you thanks.
