How transmission fluid

I have 1995 Chevy c1500 v8 5.0 manual 5 speed
transmission. I do not have a dipstick  so I can measure it
that way

There is a fill plug on the side of the transmission. The level is checked by removing the plug and filling it to the hole level. Generally, manual transmissions do not run low on gear oil unless there is a seal leaking.
