Is it OK to install a chip on a k1500 350cu Chevy?

What kind of chip? if your thinking about one of those that replaces the air charge sensor with a little box, don't bother, they are junk and eventually cause the check engine light to come on due to lack of sensor response. You need something like Jet, one that plugs directly into the computer befor you will notice any change.

Research the correct one for the parts you have so you do not get the wrong one and like said you wan the whole board/chip kit to install not just the prom on your board.
