Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving my temp gauges started overheating I turned on the heater
and the air was cool. I replaced thermostat and water pump. I bypassed
the heater core until I get a new one and a leak is coming from
underneath before the transmission/pan. i do not know if there was a plug
or something in this area but it is a prefect hole right in the middle
underneath. I cant figure this out. Should this hole be plugged or any other
