Asked by GuruYQ6FL Mar 18, 2018 at 07:12 PM about the 1998 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck want move no noise from tranny or transfer case
like something is broke I’ve check shifter on column and
and tranny works took dust cover off to see if torque
converter moves it does I checked with truck off shows
way over full then I started truck went through gears then
left truck run and checked fluid was still same spot on dip
stick I put in 4 high then 4 low it seems like transfer case
is working but truck still want move in drive or reverse this
truck has been driving just fine left a buddy’s house went
through stop sign then it’s like it went in to neutral so had
towed home haven’t figured it out yet I would think if
tranny broke something it would have a bit of a grinding
noise but I have no idea please help any suggestions
