Trying 2 reprogram my g35 key

Sit in the driver seat of your G35. Close all of the car doors. Insert the key into the ignition then remove it. Repeat this process six times within 10 seconds. Watch for the emergency lights to flash on the car to indicate that programming mode is active. 2 Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to "ACC." Push and release the "Lock" or "Unlock" button. 3 Unlock the car doors then lock them again using the switch on the driver door panel if you have additional remotes to program. Press the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on the additional remote. 4 Open the driver door. Turn the key to "OFF" and remove it from the ignition.

i did it planty of times it worked the first time. and now i tried upgrading to a new keyfob and its not working
