Location of anti-theft module in my 2000 Ranger 3.0L XLT

Asked by Richard Sep 13, 2018 at 04:00 PM about the 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 ford ranger 3.0L XLT 5 spd
man. While changing cyl. Head I
inevitably enabled the anti-theft
system. Where is that module?
It is a major problem. I shorted
the Alt. to battery cable for a split
second and blew 5 fuses. I need the
exact location of the anti-theft module.
PLEASE !!!! It's at a repair garage
w/master tech but I truly can't afford
their fair labor charges. I'm assisting as
much as I can to ease the pain in my
wallet.
