how to remove the anti theft wiring in my 1998 Ford Ranger 2.5

when I had to install a new battery i couldn't because the alarm goes off.  The
previous owner had a clicker but lost it.  How can I just remove the wiring
completely so I can use my truck?  Please help

You can't. What you can try is unlocking the vehicle and starting it with the ignition key. The computer should recognize the key. If that doesn't work a local locksmith will be your cheapest option. Hope that helps! Jim

If there is an aftermarket system you may be able to remove it.
