Should the 4.6 lit. motor and or any other part of mustang,make load popping or,cracking type sounds,when it is cooling off,after driving it,while it is sitting in the driveway?

Dose anyone else have this problem, and if so,what the heck is it that is making this noise?

Popping and tinging is normal, expansion and contraction of metal is normal. If its cracking....that aint normal.
