I have a 20069 kia rio lx w/44,000 miles. lately i have been driving with low fuel in my tank. will this cause my emission or engine light to come on.otheR than this car is running great!

It shouldn't, but its not a good idea to keep your fuel level so low as it sets the stage for condensation inside the tank as the car/components get cooler with the ambient temperature. Try not to let your fuel supply in the tank drop below 1/2 tank if you park it outside at night.
